The hotel Héliopic**** Sweet & Spa, located at the foot of the Aiguille du Midi cable car, offers 102 comfortable hotel rooms, a 500m² Nuxe Spa, a business lounge, innovative services and a newly designed restaurant: L'AKASHON.
In 2017, in order to constantly improve its offer for the comfort of its customers and non-resident customers, the Hotel Heliopic Sweet & Spa promises with the opening of its restaurant AKASHON a unique moment around a flavorful, elegant, generous cuisine.
The opening of the Restaurant AKASHON is scheduled on Friday 1st December 2017.
AKASHON, a new name, a new design
The Hotel Héliopic inaugurates its new restaurant on 1st December. L'AKASHON, "by surprise" in Savoyard dialect, convenes elegance and conviviality around the table.
Entirely redesigned by the two interior designers Anna Leymergie and Lancelot Letellier, the design is inspired by the industrial past of the region and incorporates a resolutely contemporary touch, combining raw materials and softer materials.
Mountain recipes
The creative and discreet Chef Julien Binet is working in the kitchen since the opening of the hotel in 2013. Former at Albert 1er restaurant, Julien Binet is a young chef passionate about authentic cuisine which he has especially honored at the "Café de l'Arve" for three years, which earned him a Bib Gourmand.
With enthusiasm and passion, he favours seasonal products, refined flavours, imbued with mountains essences and derives pleasure from inventing and revisiting recipes to ensure that every meal is a special moment.
