Everything you need to know about the Unlimited Festival in Chamonix in April 2019

On the other hand, most ski areas and lifts are still open until the end of April.

But what makes an April vacation in Chamonix truly exceptional are music and magic - three festivals which bring people together take place throughout April in Chamonix: The Unlimited Festival, Musilac Mon-Blanc and Magic Mont-Blanc.

The Unlimited Festival in Chamonix

A tradition in Chamonix, the 4th edition of the Chamonix Unlimited Festival will take over the course of 6 days, from 2nd to 7th of April 2019.

The perfect combination of music, nature and skiing, the Unlimited festival presents numerous electronic artists who will perform in 15 iconic locations, from the breathtaking Aiguille du Midi to the astonishing Skyway Monte Bianco.

The artists

Among the artists announced so far for this year's edition of the Chamonix Unlimited festival are 2manydjs, Adriatique, Agents of Time, Agoria, Anetha, Anja Schneider, Asa Moto, Cerrone, Bon Entendeur, Dave Clarke, Denis Horvat, Dixon, Booka Shade, Mirko Loko, Michel Cleis, Ellen Allien, Enlin, Dj Spen, Fideles, Freddy K, Greg Boust, Jeff Mills, Joe Claussell, Joe Volpeliere, Julo, Klement Bonelli, Konstantin Sibold, Laurent Garnier, Len Faki, Luna Semara, Marvin & Guy, Melvo Baptiste, Mira, Pablo Valentino, Polo & Pan, Purple Disco Machine, Roger Sanchez, Rrose, Stephan Bodzin live, Super Bush, The Shapeshifters, Thomas Villard, The Hacker, Tijana T, Trikk, Vince, Voiski.

Where and when?

This year, the Chamonix Unlimited Festival will take place over 6 days, from the 2nd to the 7th of April, and the artists will play in around 15 magnificent venues.

Booka Shade will play their great electronic music on the 3rd of April at the spectacular altitude of 3842m, at Aiguille du Midi.

However, the show will be postponed in case of bad weather.

It is recommended to book the cable car up to seven days in advance.

Many artists will play at the pool party, at the Refuge des Aiglons hotel. 

Take the train to Montenvers to see Marvin & the guy play on the 5th of April.

At Planpraz, you can enjoy your favourite electronic music both during day time and under the stars, at night.

Many performances taking place in Courmayeur as well - just a 45 minutes bus ride from Chamonix.

Single tickets

Single tickets available for purchase since January on www.chamonix-unlimited.com

The purchase is subjected to availability, prices from 15€.

Pink Pass

Starting from 25€. Choose between two days (60€), three days (87€), four days (112€), or five days (135€).

Purple Pass

Starting from 52€.

Includes access to the main stages and visits on the mountain.

Includes the Vallée de Chamonix lift pass.

White Pass

Starting from 50€.

Made for skiers and for concerts on the slopes, requires black slope and/or off-piste ski level.

Includes a Vallée de Chamonix lift pass.

Visits to Aiguille du Midi and Mer de Glace at Montenvers included and unlimited,

but the festival events on these venues are NOT included in the White Pass.

Add-on tickets will be on sale for purple pass holders for the events at Montenvers, limited availability.

Black pass

Sold Out

Starting from 70€.

Includes access to all the events and all the skiing area.

Includes a Vallée de Chamonix lift pass, essential to access the mountain events for both pedestrians and skiers.

For the 2019 Unlimited Festival, the Black Pass is now sold out.
