The Christmas festivities have officially begun in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc!
Many people gathered at the Place du Mont-Blanc, for the distribution of glow sticks and the start of the stroll at the batucada rhythm of the École de musique de Chamonix (Chamonix Music School).
A stroll through the town to reach the foot of the tree, erected on the square of the Triangle-de-l'amitié.
Then the conifer lit on the backdrop of moonlit mountains and a starry sky before the Transneptune Company show began.
Hot chocolates, fire, music and lights have launched the Christmas festivities under Mont Blanc.
