The Transat Jacques Vabre race starts on 5th November 2017 at Le Havre (France).

Indeed, the yatch skipper Aurélien Ducroz will be accompanied by Romain Attanasio for the Atlantic crossing in tandem. On board their IMOCA boat, the two men will have a well-oiled organization.

The Transat Jacques Vabre is a yachting race, boats leave from the Port of Le Havre, going to Salvador de Bahia, in Brazil (4335 miles).

The Transat Jacques Vabre race is a major event on the calendar, taking place every two years since 1995. It is still a two-handed race and the pairs of sailors are formed according to their complementary skills, what they have in common and how they get on.

For Aurélien Ducroz who started sailing in 2010, it will be an opportunity to train for his final goal: the next Vendée Globe.
